Born in Mbabane, Eswatini, to Rwandan parents, Brian Muhoza is a boundary-redefining artist, in both the visual and martial senses of the word. Drawing from nature, manga, sports, and cuisine, the sources that inspired Brian to design and draw have been endless.

 

Themes of love, distance, locomotion, ostracization, and familial obligation are woven throughout Brian's work and make for topics to delve into and draw raw emotion from, to communicate ideas often-neglected or withheld.

 

Ultimately, these ideas serve as muses to highlight neglected voices, and Brian hopes to help them be heard, not spoken for or over.
